Good News Bad News

Good news bad news is a spoken game for two or more players.
The object is to build up a story consisting of alternately good and bad pieces of news.
The good and bad thing about this game is that a piece of news is good or bad only until another news arrives.
The first player starts by stating a piece of good news. The next player then has to state a piece of bad news which tends to contradict the good news. It goes on in this manner round the players, with each player adding alternate pieces of good or bad news in turn.

The good news is that the weather is wonderful.

Bad news is that we are all locked down in a dungeon.

The good news is that I have the keys.

The bad news is that there are two guardians waiting outside.
